​I'm a children's author (preparing to launch my very first book), military wife, mum to a beautifully blended family, and a firm believer in the power of stories to help little hearts feel seen.

​

While I still feel very much like a new military wife, our family has already experienced many of the unique challenges that come with military life; long periods apart, frequent moves, changing schools, and learning to find our footing in unfamiliar places. Alongside that, we're also navigating the joys and challenges of blended family life, discovering what it means to stay connected across households, miles, and seasons of change.

It was through these experiences that the idea for my first book began to grow.

​

What started as a story for my children became something that supported me, too. It gave words to feelings that can be difficult to explain and reminded me that love has a way of reaching across distance, even when someone isn't physically beside us.

​

As a mum, I've learned that children don't always have the words to express what they're feeling. Sometimes they simply need reassurance. They need reminders that they are loved, remembered, and connected, no matter how far away someone may be.

​

That's what inspired me to write With You, I Am Always.

​

My hope is that each story I write offers comfort, connection, and opportunities for gentle conversations between children and the people who love them.

​

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me with a coffee in hand, surrounded by notebooks and creative projects, reading with my children, exploring a new town after another military move, or finding ways to capture everyday moments through journaling and storytelling.
